In China, there is a region in Quingyang Zhonggou in the north of the country. This Tektite was "born" when a meteorite on Earth. This produces so much heat that eg sand or other material evaporated on the surface to Tektite and gone cold. So a Tektite is not directly the material that comes from outer space, but it is caused by the intense heat of the impact of a meteorite.
