Turquoise cabochon navette cut
The gemstone cabochon is cutted with navette cut and arched at the top, the edges are rounded and the bottom is flat, ideal for daraud e.g. to make earrings.
These are real turquoises just ground and polished and stabilized at the end, so to speak, polished with a kind of wax to close the pores for stabilization. This must always be done with turquoise, because natural turquoise is otherwise too fragile.
